Grant Tank
RevComm Foundation held its inaugural Grant Tank in April of 2023, due to the tremendous support and success of the event it was a no brainer to convert the special event into our flagship grant funding method.
Join local philanthropic investors, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and passionate community changemakers for Grant Tank event presented by RevComm Foundation. During this fun and unconventional spin on ABC’s hit show Shark Tank, RevComm Foundation will invite local nonprofit organizations to pitch their mission and vision to an audience and most importantly an assembly of generous philanthropic “Sharks”. This interactive event will give nonprofit organizations a chance to secure the funding needed to further their mission.
Founders Crystal and Daniel along with the dedicated Board of Directors will provide you with an introduction of what RevComm Foundation is doing to level the playing field for nonprofit organizations. Come prepared to hear about the great work that is being done in and around your community. Enjoy an evening filled with dinner, beverages, and great conversation amongst fellow philanthropists. Most importantly of all, as an attendee of RevComm Foundation’s inaugural Grant Tank event, both attendees and sharks will have the opportunity to support and fund 6 selected nonprofit organizations through an exciting “fast pitch” event.
Application Guidelines
RevComm Foundation now supports partner organizations through its annual Grant Tank event, which provides general operating grants to selected organization through this innovative fast pitch event. The # of selected agencies for each application period will depend on level of interest and funding availability. In addition to financial assistance, all grantees will have access to pro-bono consulting support.
Grant Tank is currently an annual event to be held in the spring. Agencies not selected for funding are encouraged to apply during the following application period.
Our promise to you throughout this process is to remain simple. With a founding board experienced in grant writing and serving as nonprofit consultants on a full-time basis, we understand how stressful the grant process can be. Grant Tank is envisioned to keep the grant funding process simple, fun and to the point so that organizations can remain focused on your important work.
How new is your organization?
RevComm Foundation provides funding to nonprofit organizations in their beginning phases. Applicants must have secured 501(c)(3) status less than 10 years prior to applying.
What does your revenue look like?
Although we love to see the success of nonprofit organizations in our community, invites to Grant Tank will only be available to organizations with an annual budget less than $500,000.
Where is your organization located?
RevComm Foundation would like to be able an interactive and collaborative partner with grantees, therefore the foundation will only fund Southern California organizations.

RevComm Foundation is proud of its mission-agnostic approach, meaning we do not restrict funding to specific focus areas. If your organization meets our guidelines, does not provide services on the exclusion list, and fosters community impact, we encourage you to apply and look forward to learning more about your mission.
Guidelines
Qualifying Criteria is as follows:
501(c)(3) obtained less than 10 years from date of application deadline
Annual revenue of less than $500,000
Southern California based organization
Must promote diversity, equity and inclusion
Exclusions:
Political organizations or activities
Religious organizations
Medical Research
Capital or building campaigns
Sports teams or athletic competitions
Other foundations or granting organizations
Fundraising dinners, galas, and events
